Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, email address and telephone number; company name, billing and delivery addresses, country, state or province, city and postal code; products, quantities, prices, shipping arrangements, payment status and order correspondence; tax or customs information where necessary for invoicing, customs clearance or another legal requirement; and information provided in enquiries. Technical information may include IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, timestamps and security logs. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry or purchase. Company and tax details are requested only where relevant to the transaction or required by law.
How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, process and fulfil orders, arrange payment, delivery and customs clearance, provide order updates, customer support, warranty assistance and returns, maintain website functionality and security, detect fraud, prevent misuse, maintain business records and meet legal obligations. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to enter into or perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, pursue permitted legitimate interests, or obtain your consent. We request consent where required. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
BOM Tool and Enquiry Emails
The BOM Tool reads XLSX and CSV files in your browser and sends the listed brands, part numbers, SKUs and quantities to our website to match inventory. Your original file is not uploaded. If you submit an enquiry, we process your contact details, notes and requested parts to respond and prepare a quotation. Enquiry records and email status are stored using Cloudflare infrastructure. When enabled, Resend processes the enquiry email and a CSV matching-results attachment for delivery to our customer service team. We use a hashed network address to limit automated submissions. Please exclude confidential information and payment credentials. Enquiries are retained only as needed for follow-up and the retention purposes described below; contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights.
Cookies and Browser Storage
Our website may use cookies or similar browser storage for essential functions, including shopping cart contents, preferences and security. If we introduce optional analytics or advertising technologies, we will explain their purposes and request consent where required before activating them. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies or browser storage may affect some website features.
Payments
The payment methods available for an order are displayed during checkout or stated in the agreed payment instructions. When an external payment provider processes a payment, that provider handles payment information under its own privacy notice. We may receive information needed to identify the transaction, confirm payment, issue a refund or maintain accounting records. Please do not send full payment card numbers, card security codes, banking passwords or account login credentials by email or enquiry forms.
When We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information, limited to what is necessary, with hosting and infrastructure providers including Cloudflare for hosting, storage, delivery and security; payment providers and banks for payments, refunds and settlement; delivery and logistics providers for shipping and updates; customs authorities or clearance providers for international shipments; professional advisers for accounting, legal or compliance purposes; and public authorities where required by law. Service providers are permitted to process information only for the relevant services and applicable lawful purposes. We do not use your personal information or identifiable images in advertising without consent where required.
International Processing
We operate from China and use Cloudflare infrastructure. Depending on the services and arrangements involved, personal information may be stored, accessed or otherwise processed in countries outside your country of residence. International orders may also require information to be provided to overseas payment providers, carriers or customs authorities. Where required by applicable law, we provide additional information about international transfers and implement the necessary safeguards, consent procedures or other lawful transfer arrangements.
How Long We Keep Information
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Retention periods depend on the nature of the information, our relationship with you, and applicable accounting, tax, customs, dispute resolution and other legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, subject to lawful retention requirements and normal backup deletion cycles.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration and disclosure. Personal information submitted through website forms and checkout should be transmitted over a secure HTTPS connection. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Where a personal information incident occurs, we will take appropriate action and provide notifications where required by law.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to or a copy of your personal information; correction of inaccurate or incomplete information; deletion; restrictions on or objection to certain processing; withdrawal of consent; and data portability where applicable. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority. To make a request, email Customer@Shevisautomation.com. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity. We respond within the period required by applicable law. Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions, including obligations to retain transaction records.
Marketing
If we send promotional communications, we will obtain consent where required and provide an appropriate way to unsubscribe. You may also contact us to stop promotional messages. Essential communications about an enquiry, order, payment or delivery are separate from marketing messages.
Children’s Privacy
Our website is intended for business customers and adult purchasers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.
External Websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, data practices or legal obligations. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date. We will provide additional notice or request consent for material changes where required by applicable law.
